Hi and welcome to my bio! I'm not one for long, drawn out speeches, so I'll make this fairly brief...I was born in LA (that's Lower Alabama) and moved to Georgia in 1980. I love the South, college football (Roll Tide) and my family.
My family consists of my husband (hi honey!), my brother, parents and my 4 dogs. Most people consider 4 dogs a herd...so I guess I have a herd of Hurds (my last name).
Ok, moving on...I love my job (Recreation Director for Trinity UMC)...love sports and love having a good time. I played volleyball in high school and college and still coach and play a little. My job as Recreation Director is ideal as I get to plan leagues, programs and provide assistance to the community. Cartersville has been great to me and everyone here has been most welcoming and helpful.
I love my crazy new friends at the Trinity School (Lori, Ish and Anne--with an "e") and the staff at Trinity are amazing! (Thank you Chief!)
Most times you can find me at the church or on the soccer fields, but if I'm not there then I'm white water rafting, hanging out with my husband or doing agility with my furbabies.
